I was born and raised here in the Bay Area and still cannot believe how lucky I am to have something as iconic as the Golden Gate Bridge and SF right in my ‘backyard’. I can’t lie, beach sessions (and in particular SF beach sessions) are not always easy…we battle wind, fog and PEOPLE so the beautiful, empty, sweeping landscape images people want are a lot easier said than done. But when it all comes together, you get sessions like this one…
We shot this first image in full sun to really grab the larger than life colors from the bridge and water then spent a little time waiting to get a different perspective of how soft and beautiful that light is as the sun drops and sets over the city. It didn’t hurt that mom and dad to be are also equally stunning!
