Senior Portraits are some of my favorite sessions…I love working with a younger client that is old enough to want to collaborate on how to express themselves but also open to artistic creativity. H and I had a blast at her session and she was an absolute natural in front of the camera. She couldn’t take a bad photo if she tried and these are just a few of the favorites from our evening.
Today she turned 6…and as cliche as it seems it really did happen ‘in the blink of an eye’. We headed out this weekend to grab a few shots to wrap up 5 and welcome what this next year has to offer. Nothing too crazy…just me, my camera, my girl and (almost) every little expression that I am hoping to memorize and etch into my brain to pretend that I can make time stand still. It only took about 10 minutes (which is pretty much all I can get these days) but that ‘smize’, those little hands, that mouth pucker…it’s now mine to look back on for an eternity. Sometimes I forget how ‘important’ my job is since I spend so much time shooting for everyone else. This was a great reminder that I too deserve to capture these moments and create these memories!
