P& N Get Married – San Francisco Wedding Photographer – Westin St. Francis Wedding Photographer

My first communication with Pat was over the phone…he was referred to me by a mutual friend and was excited to be shopping wedding photographers for his upcoming wedding to Nicole. We had a great conversation and in addition to having a friend in common it turns out that he graduated from the greatest college ever….my alma mater Cal Poly,  San Luis Obispo. Naturally, I thought he was perfect and that we should work together! Turns out he agreed and I was thrilled when he reached out shortly thereafter to confirm that they would like me to photograph their late summer nuptials in San Francisco.

First on the agenda was to meet Pat and his bride to be for an engagement session at Palace of Fine Arts. We had so much fun getting to know each other and some of the photos from  their gorgeous session were actually published by Beyond the Wanderlust:  http://beyondthewanderlust.com/san-francisco-fine-arts-engagement-nicole-patrick/

Their day was nothing short of spectacular and filled with so much happiness, love and laughter. The two were married at St. Vincent dePaul  church which had sentimental attachment for Pat. Following the ceremony, in true San Francisco fashion we all drove by cable car to Crissy Field for some fun photos by the Golden Gate Bridge. The ride back on the cable car was probably the most fun I’ve had ‘traveling’ EVER. Put a little champagne in a glass, blast some old school hip hop & rap and you have an instant party on the run. I wasn’t sure whether to dance sing along or take pictures (I may have done all of the above). Their reception was held on the 32nd floor of the Westin St. Francis and was every bit as spectacular as you would imagine that high above the city. With full, panoramic bay views and one of the best dressed guest lists I’ve seen these friends and family were ready to PARTY! With toasts that left everyone teary eyed and in hysterics, first dances that made you melt and amazing band that kept everyone on their feet, there wasn’t a full moment from start to finish.

It truly was my honor and pleasure to be a part of such a special day and I could not be happier for the new Mr. And Mrs.
