These are YOUR sessions and should reflect who you are and who/what you love!
FIRST – Let’s pick a great location. What do you want your images to look like? Rustic and tree lined; urban & modern? I’ve got a place for that! I’d also love to hear your suggestions!
SECOND – Let’s get dressed! Wear what makes you feel great. Color & texture is fantastic! Large logos or distracting prints…not so much. Remember that these are photos you will want to look at 10 years from now and still be ‘classic’ vs. dated. Need help??? Send me a text photo from the mall or your closet…design consultant is my second hat!
THIRD – Let’s show up on time (and dressed and ready for action). Sessions are very strategically scheduled based on optimal lighting which is limited and fleeting. If we start late, we lose light. If we lose light, we lose opportunities for amazing images. Who would want to do that?
FOURTH – Let’s get out there and have some fun! While my sessions are unscripted and minimally posed, what I will do is give you a LOT of direction. I know it’s not always first nature to be in front of the camera and once I have you there I’m not going to leave you hanging! I’ll be guiding you through it all!
LAST – Some general housekeeping (blah blah blah):
- Family sessions include up to (5) family members. Additional members are charged a $25 (per person) flat session fee.
- I typically shoot within the East Bay Area but love to travel within the greater Bay Area. A travel fee will be applied to all sessions over 20 miles outside of 94552 zip code.
- Please allow 2-4 weeks (depending on current bookings) for your family proofing gallery to be available for viewing.
- All images are fully edited based on the technical and artistic expression of the photographer . No RAW or unedited images are available.
